Sister, Wake Up!

It is time for you to wake up from your sleep, as from the dead! You will be the only one with eyes opened from slumber, so you will see my departure! Pick up the mantle which I have dropped for you!

The body of Christ has cried ten thousand tears for her older sister, who suffers persecution and hatred from the world. This is proof of who she is! She belongs to the Lord! Sadly, she has not allowed herself to be comforted, she refused to recognize the Face of her redeemer, so as to begin the service of her calling! All creation pleads for her to recognize and internalize these truths, to strengthen herself with the Glory of her Lord! Then will her sons be called the Sons of the Most High! Then her sons will be His ministers! She will oversee the comfort and care if the nations. Her blessing will become the blessings of the nations, the bounty of her gifts! She will never be afraid or alone any more!

Our brother has told lies about you, but he also knows the truth, that of your darkest memories, which he also shares. In making you the public scapegoat, the object of blame, and shame, he has, for a time, avoided his own condemnation. His strident persecution of you is to remove attention from his own gross sin. He is trying to take your inheritance! Those same machinations will be exposed for all to see!

Oh, loveliest of women! Abandon your idolatry and repudiate your abusive, deceptive lover! Return! Return! To HIM who has already paid the price to redeem you! Throw off your chains of degradation of the one you have given the authority over you! Didn't you know you are already free? You have forgotten your inheritance! Do not suffer the dictates of the contemptuous King! Do not be seduced by his sweet sounding lies! Instead, let Him Who Loves you remove the last vestiges of the filth of your imprisonment! Let Him wash you and make you clean!

How I have grieved for the lonely woman, wandering in her exile! She was rejected by her family, put out by her father, even in the midst of her grief! Who can blame her if she is overcome? She cannot see, or understand, that her family is flooded with sorrow and tears for her! Prays fervently for her peace! I am struck, am blinded by my anguish, have no words for the losses, in the faithless city! Why must the children suffer? It is a high price to pay for stubbornness. Your sons shall reject this narrative! The Lord, Himself, shall call them out! So shall my sister take up the mantle I dropped, as I was lifted up!
